This perennial weed is native to Europe and Asia and became naturalized in North America in open fields and pastures. Plants have alternate, conspicuously lobed leaves and grow to 2 feet tall. White daisylike flowers appear during June and July that are up to 2 inches across. Flowers are insect-pollinated and have minor allergenic importance in terms of pollen.
